Youth create exhibit "UnMasked", documenting youth experience with health disparities.

With sponsorship from Woonsocket's Health Equity Zone, artists in the Media Studio atRiverzedge Arts created a photo essay of portraits that documents health-relatedinequities experienced by teens in Woonsocket that were caused or exacerbated by theCOVID-19 pandemic. Teens interviewed and completed photoshoots with their peers toexplore these experiences and their effects. The result is a captivating collection ofportraits that bring teen voices and experiences front and center.At the conclusion of the exhibit, the Health Equity Zone will take ownership of theproject so that it can travel throughout the state as a document of youth experienceswith health disparities.
