Our participants conceive, produce and exhibit works in multiple media and styles. They sell their own products as well as provide a range of art and design services to organizations, corporations and businesses. We provide our clients with creative and dynamic services that include graphic and web design, silkscreen, private and public art commissions, event, portrait, and fine art photography. Each studio works in¨dependently while often collaborating on projects.

The Graphic Design Studio provides design solutions for every need from concept to completed product. Whether it's young and dynamic, sophisticated and minimalist, or anything in between, our designers will work to develop a look that is professional, compelling and distinctive.

The Silk Screen Studio uses a state-of-the-art six color press. Our team of silkscreen artists applies their creativity to any custom apparel project, designing and producing everything from t-shirts to short-run projects, and greeting cards. Clients range from large corporations to garage bands.

Artists in our Painting Studio create original works in all genres and sizes ideally suited for private collections, corporate headquarters, or any space that craves color and originality with an urban beat. Our Wood Studio combines artistry and craftsmanship to produce one-of-a-kind pieces. Choose from stock designs or work with our artisans for custom pieces. All pieces can be completed with a traditional finish or in collabora¨tion with our painting and silkscreen studios to fit any fine art collection.

Painting provides a solid foundation for other artistic mediums at RiverzEdge. Painting allows participants to explore their identity and larger societal role in ways that most new participants have not experimented with before. Professional artists and volunteers teach participants the basics in drawing, painting, design, and color theory. Young artists infuse the realities of their lives, good and bad, into their art, which allows them to have a voice in the world.Each year we strive to exhibit RiverzEdge participants' work in our own gallery and other venues throughout the state. This work is on display both for sale and for inspiration to commission our artists for new works.

RiverzEdge: Musical dreamscapes, floral fantasies, political commentaries, stylized portraits, traditional land and seascapes, comedic charm…a walk through the Riverzedge studios provides access to art that delights the senses, with an urban beat.             An event within your event!

Participants learn composition; graphic design and typography; color systems; pre-press production; and new media/electronic imaging. They learn how to use Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, QuarkXPress, InDesign, and Dreamweaver. With these skills, they create expressive logos, brand identity, product labels, and book illustration. Participants work with supervising artists on custom design assignments for business clients and develop their own design trademarks. They make presentations to clients and to the public about their art, and create personal portfolios.

Artist participants apply their graphic skills to create custom designs for our clients and are trained on professional equipment in the silkscreen studio. Artists learn to track jobs and produce high quality printed merchandise from our seasoned professional staff. Creativity is encouraged through independent work; making photo-based and hand rendered stencils and experimenting with clothing and bags that they design and sew. Our artists are on the cutting edge of today’s youth market.
