Latia Drayton wins Torani Syrup Label Contest
RiverzEdge Arts Project is pleased to announce that painting studio participant Latia Drayton,15, has won the Torani Syrup Label contest. This annual contest is a national call to young artists to design, create and submit artistic creations that can be used on the labels of one of 3 flavors of syrup. Latia's design will be featured on the pomegranate flavored syrup across the country in coffee shops and cafes and wherever Torani Syrup is sold. Latia's art will also adorn poster-size prints and magnets that Torani sends out as press material. Torani held a party in Latia's honor at RiverzEdge Studio September 25. NBC10, Torani and civic leaders were on hand to congratulate Latia, including Woonsocket mayor, Susan Menard, who dedicated September 25 as "Latia Drayton Day."
