Participant Wins National Design Contest
Mayor Declares May 27th, Chistina Lauzon Day
An 18-year old participant in our PhotoWorks studio, Christina Lauzon, has won a national label design contest for the Torani Syrup Company – competing against 2,000 other applicants nationwide. This is the 2nd time a RiverzEdge participant has won this contest.
GreenWorks Collaborates with RISD Student

The GreenWorks studio has had the privilege of collaborating with Katryna Carter, a 2nd year RISD Graduate student in Industrial Design. Carter teamed up with five of our youth to introduce them to a 3D design process and develop a collaborative project.

Youth in the ArtWorks studio painted "Art Deco" bike racks, each in a style inspired by a historically significant artist, for Way to Work's First Annual Transportation Fair.

The Art Gallery at Woonsocket City Hall
RiverzEdge – Offical Curator
In April 2010, RiverzEdge opened The Art Gallery at Woonsocket City Hall in collaboration with city officials. RiverzEdge is the official curator of the gallery and is currently displaying artwork by RiverzEdge participants — the first show to take place at the gallery.
